The firm added Guillermo Uribe Lara and Adrián Gay Lasa as shareholders, while Jorge E. González and Carlos Guijarro join as associates. These appointments bring the Mexico City office to a total of 31 shareholders and over 90 legal professionals. The expansion reflects a broader strategy to meet the rising demand for sophisticated financial legal services within the Mexican market.
Uribe Lara arrives with significant experience from his time at Mexico’s National Banking and Securities Commission, where he helped shape market structures like CKDs. His practice centers on banking and securities law, specifically supporting publicly listed Real Estate Trusts, or FIBRAs. Gay Lasa brings a complementary focus on structured credit, cross-border securitizations, and infrastructure projects. Together, the team expects to leverage the firm’s global platform to navigate increasingly complex regulatory environments for both domestic and foreign clients.
