The company’s expansion centers on Apolo, a proprietary machine-learning platform that evaluates transaction-level data and cash flow to automate funding decisions. According to CEO Mark Allayev, the shift positions Cashera as a technology-first lender, with plans to export its US-tested automated decisioning models to the UK market by 2027.
While the firm currently offers unsecured business loans of up to £300,000 in the UK, it intends to increase that limit to £500,000. By 2027, the company will also launch Cashera Flow, a product providing flexible lines of capital supported by dedicated mobile applications. The growth strategy relies heavily on referral partners, who gain access to real-time dashboards for tracking deal flow. To support this scaling, Cashera has bolstered its leadership with the appointment of Aravind Muralidharan as Head of Risk, drawing on his experience at Kabbage and American Express to refine the firm's credit models.
