The cancellations hit the Big E Arena in West Springfield, the Univest Performance Center in Quakertown, and The Alabama Theatre in Myrtle Beach. While representatives for the group have remained silent regarding the specific cause, local venue officials cited “circumstances beyond the control” of the organizers. These gaps in the schedule arrive just two months after the band paused touring to allow members time to recover from health and personal challenges.
Despite the current uncertainty, the band’s official calendar still lists performances for October, including stops in Bloomington, Illinois; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Nashville, Tennessee. No announcements regarding refunds or makeup dates for the canceled September shows have been issued. The tour, which celebrates the 60th anniversary of the landmark album Pet Sounds, continues to operate under a shifting lineup. With co-founder Brian Wilson having passed away in June 2025 and longtime member Bruce Johnston stepping back from the road, Mike Love remains the only original member actively performing in the current iteration of the group.
