MeetKai Partners with NVIDIA for Sovereign AI Rollout Across Six Nations

The initiative centers on the MK-A1 SOVIA platform, a design that allows for the rapid replication of AI infrastructure across diverse markets. In Ukraine, MeetKai is partnering with Kyivstar to build the country’s first national-scale AI factory. Scheduled to come online in 2027, the facility is designed to scale from 15 to 100 megawatts to meet demand from government agencies, energy sectors, and financial institutions. The system is built for air-gapped environments, ensuring that sensitive data remains under domestic control.

In Brazil, MeetKai secured a public tender with SERPRO, the federal IT agency, to deploy sovereign coding agents and localized models. Beyond Latin America, the company is collaborating with VEON to act as an AI lab-as-a-service across its five remaining markets. This strategy focuses on training local engineers to operate the sites, ensuring that technical expertise remains within the host country. According to Calista Redmond, VP of Global AI Initiatives at NVIDIA, this full-stack foundation enables governments to maintain AI systems that function strictly according to their own rules and languages.
