The firm’s pivot toward AI strategy arrives as healthcare providers seek practical frameworks for integrating complex technologies without eroding trust among patients and staff. James Cervantes, a partner who has been with the Chartis-owned consultancy since 2020, will now spearhead internal AI enablement and client-facing strategy. He will work alongside Meltem Singh, a veteran advisor previously with Gartner who brings two decades of experience in enterprise-scale transformation and data strategy. Singh’s background includes managing multi-year initiatives valued at over $500 million, a track record Jarrard intends to leverage as it moves clients beyond experimental AI pilot programs.

Beyond its AI-specific hires, Jarrard is bolstering its broader consulting capacity to meet rising demand for crisis management, growth strategy, and organizational positioning. The firm added 15 new colleagues to its existing 107-member team, including experts such as Vice President Erin George, who brings a background in healthcare technology, and Senior Managing Advisor Kate Derrick, a specialist in academic health system communications. These additions span roles in philanthropy, project management, and business development, reflecting the consultancy's push to support clients through high-stakes operational shifts and leadership transitions.
