Verisure Partners With Ting Labs to Target European Electrical Fires

The collaboration marks Ting Labs’ first foray into the European market, leveraging a system that analyzes 30 million electrical signals per second to identify hidden faults. By integrating this technology into its existing alarm ecosystem, Verisure aims to provide a proactive layer of safety that complements its traditional smoke detection and 24/7 monitoring services. The initiative addresses a significant gap in home protection, as electrical issues currently account for nearly a third of all residential fires in Europe, resulting in roughly €6.25 billion in annual property damage.

Under the agreement, Ting Labs will provide the core firmware and cloud intelligence, while Verisure manages the manufacturing, installation, and ongoing support for the European market. The devices will feature dual branding and are slated for commercial release in early 2027. This move follows Verisure’s aggressive technology investment strategy, which saw the firm commit approximately €170 million toward innovation in 2025 to bolster its security offerings and expand its subscriber base.
