ServiceTitan Faces Securities Fraud Investigation After Stock Plunge

A 30% drop in ServiceTitan shares on September 9, 2026, has triggered a formal investigation by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld LLP. The law firm is examining whether the software company misled shareholders regarding the development of its AI platform, Max, and its strategic pivot away from planned market expansions.

The inquiry centers on allegations that ServiceTitan, which provides operating systems for HVAC and plumbing contractors, misrepresented its capacity to scale into new trade sectors while simultaneously building out its AI-driven Max platform. Investors were blindsided when the company announced it would prioritize Max at the expense of its previously touted expansion plans.

This shift in strategy accompanied a reported slowdown in Gross Transaction Volume and a projected operating income of $29–$30 million, marking a 33.6% sequential decline. BFA Law is now seeking to determine if these disclosures constitute securities fraud, as the sudden change in direction directly preceded the sharp decline in the company’s valuation on the NASDAQ exchange.
