Hoymiles Debuts HoyUltra 2000M to Streamline C&I Energy Storage

The HoyUltra 2000M integrates essential components—including the battery, PCS, thermal management, and a static transfer switch—into one package. This design shift allows for a 15% reduction in system footprint compared to conventional setups that rely on parallel container configurations. According to company estimates, the streamlined approach reduces required labor from 46 hours to just 10 hours per project.

Designed for versatility, the system offers capacities up to 2.61 MWh and supports AC voltage classes of 400V, 690V, and 800V. It integrates directly with PV arrays and diesel generators, facilitating complex multi-energy applications. A built-in static transfer switch ensures backup power transitions in under 20 milliseconds, safeguarding critical loads during outages.

To ensure reliability in extreme conditions, the system utilizes liquid cooling for both the battery and power conversion components. It maintains rated power output at temperatures up to 50°C and functions in environments ranging from -30°C to 55°C. Safety features include cabinet-level smoke and temperature detection, fire suppression systems, and integrated explosion relief mechanisms.
