The initial rollout features three distinct strains: the indicas Granddaddy Purp and Skywalker OG, alongside the hybrid Blue Dream. These products utilize the brand’s signature live-resin diamonds, which are extracted from fresh-frozen flower through a gradual separation process. The resulting crystals, which boast purity levels reaching up to 99 percent, are liquefied for the Minibar hardware. Rove President Paul Jacobson noted that the company spent years evaluating the Canadian landscape before choosing the right moment and product format for entry.
Since its founding in 2016, Rove has grown into a significant player in the U.S. market, generating over $100 million in annual revenue with a presence in 16 states. The company intends to treat the Ontario launch as a testing ground, with plans to scale distribution into additional Canadian provinces over the coming months. The Canadian inventory mirrors the formulation standards used in Rove’s U.S. portfolio, maintaining the brand’s focus on high-potency concentrates.
