The deal brings together IMG’s extensive administrative infrastructure and the specialized, adventure-centric insurance products that have defined the World Nomads brand for over two decades. By absorbing the firm, which currently serves travelers in more than 100 countries, IMG aims to bolster its reach among niche demographics while maintaining the existing service model that supports over 250 adventure sports and activities.
Will Nihan, CEO of IMG, confirmed that the company intends to preserve the brand identity of World Nomads while leveraging shared resources to enhance customer experience. For millions of policyholders, the transition promises continued access to established safety tools and assistance services, now backed by the expanded operational capacity of the SiriusPoint-owned insurance group.
