Saber Healthcare, which operates senior care and rehabilitation facilities across five states, first detected unauthorized activity in its computer systems on July 27, 2026. Following an internal investigation assisted by third-party forensic experts, the company confirmed that personal data was compromised, completing its assessment by August 19. While the full scope of the breach remains under review, regulatory filings indicate that at least 3,319 individuals across South Carolina, Texas, and Vermont have been affected, with additional victims likely nationwide.
The exposure involves highly sensitive data, including Social Security numbers, medical records, financial account details, and even biometric information. Edelson Lechtzin LLP is now offering free case evaluations for those impacted, exploring the possibility of a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for damages related to privacy loss and identity fraud risks. Legal experts advise affected individuals to actively monitor credit reports and health insurance statements while preserving all official breach notifications received from the provider.
