Armadin Reaches $2.5 Billion Valuation After $255.5 Million Series B

Seven months after emerging from stealth, Palo Alto-based Armadin has secured $255.5 million in Series B funding, pushing the cybersecurity startup’s valuation past $2.5 billion. The round, co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and Accel, underscores a growing market urgency to counter AI-driven threats that outpace traditional human-led security defenses.

The company’s platform deploys autonomous swarms of agents designed to mimic adversarial tactics, chaining low-severity vulnerabilities into validated attack paths. By moving beyond static scanning, Armadin enables Fortune 500 enterprises and government agencies to visualize and neutralize potential exploits before they manifest in live production environments. This approach addresses the widening gap between vulnerability disclosure and successful exploitation, a window that has narrowed significantly due to the proliferation of frontier AI models.

Kevin Mandia, CEO of Armadin, argues that conventional defensive measures are failing because they cannot match the speed of modern offensive operations. The new capital will accelerate the firm's research and go-to-market efforts as it attempts to redefine enterprise security. The round also saw participation from Bain Capital Ventures and Redpoint, alongside returning investors including 8VC, Google Ventures, and Kleiner Perkins, bringing the company's total funding to $445 million.
