Håkan Buskhe, Chair of the Board of SKF Vertevo, described the vote as a vital milestone for the firm’s transition into an independent player within the automotive bearing industry. Following the split, SKF will report its automotive segment as discontinued operations in its third-quarter financial results.
Management has set a precise timeline for the transition, with the record date for share distribution anticipated for November 27, 2026. Trading of SKF Vertevo shares is slated to commence on Nasdaq Stockholm on December 1, 2026. Ahead of the listing, the company plans to publish a formal prospectus in November and host a Capital Markets Day in Stockholm on November 17 to outline its long-term value strategy.
