Traditionally, companies paying global workforces or creator networks have relied on intermediary currencies—most commonly the U.S. dollar—to bridge the gap between their treasury and the payee. This multi-step path triggers redundant FX spreads and slippage, costs that are frequently absorbed by the worker at the end of the transaction. By streamlining this to a single currency hop, MassPay ensures that payees receive more of their earnings in the specific currency they use for daily expenses.
"Businesses shouldn't have to convert into dollars just to convert out of them again," said Ran Grushkowsky, CEO and co-founder of MassPay. The new capability integrates directly into the company’s existing infrastructure, which utilizes Visa Direct to support real-time push-to-card, bank account, and digital wallet transfers. With a reported transaction success rate exceeding 99.3%, the platform aims to reduce both treasury complexity and the financial friction inherent in international payroll. The service is currently available to selected clients, requiring no further changes to existing API integrations for those already on the network.
