Life Time Targets Local Impact with Inaugural Community Week

From October 11 to 17, Life Time is shifting its focus from individual fitness to collective service. The national athletic club brand is launching its first Community Week, mobilizing nearly 50,000 team members and their clientele to support local nonprofit causes and national youth wellness initiatives across the United States.

The initiative aims to move the brand's influence beyond the gym floor by tasking individual club teams with identifying and supporting specific regional needs. In Orlando, Life Time Winter Park is organizing food drives and botanical garden cleanups, while the Fort Washington location in Pennsylvania is partnering with Girls on the Run to host wellness workshops. These efforts are complemented by the Houston-based Shenandoah club, which is coordinating lunch bag donations for Kids' Meals.

On October 15, the week centers on Unite the Night, a series of high-energy, neon-lit fitness events hosted at clubs nationwide. These sessions serve as a fundraiser for the Life Time Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that focuses on improving school nutrition, increasing youth physical activity, and funding environmental reforestation projects. To incentivize participation, the company has pledged to match all direct donations to the Foundation up to $100,000 through October 17.

Eric Buss, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, stated that the program is designed to convert existing member connections into actionable local service. Because Life Time covers all operational costs for its charitable arm, the company confirms that 100% of individual contributions go directly toward grantmaking and program development.
