Renaissance Recognized Among Top Education Workplaces for 2026

Seventy-eight percent of Renaissance employees describe the edtech firm as a top-tier workplace, a figure that helped the company secure a spot on the 2026 Fortune Best Workplaces in Education & Training list. This recognition marks the fourth consecutive year the firm has earned Great Place To Work certification.

The rankings, which analyzed feedback from over 17,000 employees across the education and training sector, highlight the Bloomington-based company’s focus on a mission-driven, people-first culture. According to internal survey data, Renaissance scored 20 points higher than the typical US-based company in employee satisfaction metrics. CEO Chris Bauleke credited this success to the firm’s commitment to providing educators with tools to "See Every Student," noting that the company’s external impact is rooted in its internal supportive environment.

Key drivers for the high employee sentiment include a strong emphasis on inclusivity and peer-to-peer support. Over 90% of respondents reported feeling fairly treated regardless of their background, while a similar percentage noted that colleagues genuinely care for one another. Chief People Officer Kim Mitchell emphasized that these accolades reflect the collaborative nature of the company’s global teams. Beyond standard operations, the firm promotes employee engagement through initiatives such as the Alliance for Mental Wellness and organized volunteer efforts like CoreGiving Day, where staff members recently participated in nationwide food bank support.
