The new feature functions as an extension of Raken’s existing RFI and Submittal tools, creating a unified digital trail for project modifications. By moving the process away from manual documentation, the platform allows subcontractors to track requests and payment status in real time while providing general contractors with oversight on pricing and scheduling. Owners benefit from an auditable record of all approved cost and scope adjustments.
CEO Ty Kalklosch noted that inefficient change order processes frequently cause revenue loss and erode professional trust. Integrating these workflows into the company’s broader suite—which already includes daily reporting, time tracking, and resource scheduling—aims to eliminate the need for disconnected software solutions. This consolidation is part of Raken’s strategy to position itself as an all-in-one platform for field-first construction management.
