The partnership focuses on embedding security protocols directly into the architecture of the emerging Korean stablecoin market. BTQ will serve as the primary security advisor, guiding the development of a post-quantum roadmap that includes risk assessment, cryptographic inventory, and a phased migration strategy. A central component of this initiative involves a proof of concept with domestic banking institutions to test BTQ’s Quantum Secure Stablecoin Network (QSSN), specifically evaluating its ability to manage transaction signing and key protection without hindering user experience.
This infrastructure is designed to integrate with MoonPay’s broader global network, which currently services over 35 million customers and 1,500 enterprise clients across 180 countries. By prioritizing quantum-safe standards early in the development phase, the companies aim to establish a resilient framework capable of withstanding the future decryption risks posed by advanced quantum computers. This move follows BTQ's previous engagements in the region, including projects with iM Bank and the Kaia mainnet, reinforcing the firm’s role in setting security benchmarks for South Korea’s digital asset ecosystem.
