Florida’s rapid population growth and persistent labor shortages have drawn autonomous retail specialist VenHub Global to the Sunshine State. The company is launching its first commercial deployment in the Tampa Bay region, aiming to fill gaps in high-traffic areas currently underserved by traditional, staffed retail formats.
CEO Shahan Ohanessian identified the region as a primary market for the company’s expansion, citing a growing demand for resilient, efficient retail models. VenHub Global expects to break ground on its initial Florida locations in 2026.
