With rice cake sales surging 74 percent over the past two years, snack brand Like Air is pivoting from its signature puffcorn to a new lineup of indulgent, bite-sized rice cakes. The company is rolling out four dessert-inspired flavors across 6,000 retail locations this summer to capture the growing salty snack segment.

The new product line features flavors including Birthday Cake, Cookie Dough, Cinnamon Bun, and Brownie. Each serving contains 80 calories per 24 pieces and maintains the brand’s commitment to being gluten-free, Non-GMO Project verified, and free from the top nine major allergens. Co-Founder Allison Lin described the launch as an effort to satisfy sweet cravings without the guilt often associated with traditional snack options.

Distribution begins immediately with an exclusive multipack in the Texas region of Costco. By the Fourth of July, the products will hit shelves at major national chains such as Albertsons, Publix, ShopRite, Wegmans, and Hy-Vee. The expansion continues later this summer into all Kroger locations and select Sam’s Clubs. For those seeking immediate access, the snacks are currently available through the company’s website and TikTok Shop, with Amazon and Walmart Marketplace listings scheduled for July.
