Luca Mining Expands Campo Morado Footprint with New High-Grade Assays

Luca Mining Corp. has reported significant mineralization at its Campo Morado mine in Guerrero, Mexico, following a series of successful underground and surface drill results. The findings, which include a 28.4-metre intercept at the El Rey zone, signal potential for extending the life of the polymetallic VMS operation.

The latest exploration data highlights consistent success across the El Rey and Naranjo zones, both of which remain unmined. Surface drillhole CMRY-26-10 returned 28.4 metres of 2.28 g/t gold, 134.89 g/t silver, 0.57% copper, 0.95% lead, and 3.69% zinc. Meanwhile, underground drilling at the Naranjo zone, specifically hole CMUG-26-44, intersected 19.6 metres of 2.78 g/t gold and 103.12 g/t silver. These results are part of a broader campaign involving 12,035 metres of underground drilling and 16,535 metres of surface work to date.

Beyond traditional drilling, the company is integrating AI-driven prospectivity mapping into its strategy. Since late 2025, Luca has utilized VRIFY’s DORA software to analyze over 650,000 metres of historical data and 153 geophysical layers. This analysis has identified six distinct target zones currently undergoing high-resolution evaluation. Paul D. Gray, VP of Exploration, stated that these findings provide critical geological information to support the inclusion of new areas into the long-term mine plan for the property.
