Essential Parfums to Open First International Store in London Soho

French fragrance house Essential Parfums is set to cross the English Channel this October, launching its first standalone boutique outside of France. The new 795-square-foot space will occupy 37 Beak Street in London’s Soho district, marking a strategic move to bring the brand’s collaborative scent collections to the UK market.

The expansion places the brand in a high-traffic retail corridor just steps from Carnaby Street, a location chosen for its creative energy and density of fragrance enthusiasts. The shop will showcase a curated range of perfumes developed alongside notable industry names, including Calice Becker, Quentin Bisch, and Nathalie Lorson.

William Oliver, Director of Retail and Restaurant Leasing at Shaftesbury Capital, noted that the arrival of the French label reinforces Soho’s reputation as a destination for international debuts. According to Géraldine Archambault, co-founder and CEO of Essential Parfums, the move represents a natural evolution for the company as it seeks to engage a new community of shoppers in a vibrant, high-footfall environment.
