Bio-Techne CEO Kim Kelderman credited the strong shareholder support as a vital milestone in the transition. By merging with the German giant, Bio-Techne plans to integrate its reagent and diagnostic tools into a broader, global infrastructure. Kelderman noted that the combined entity will be positioned to support workflows spanning from initial discovery to commercial production.
Regulatory progress is also moving forward. The mandatory waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act expired on September 18, 2026. While the deal still requires further regulatory clearances, leadership expects the transaction to finalize by late 2026 or early 2027. Once the process concludes, the merger will mark a major expansion for Bio-Techne, which reported over $1.2 billion in net sales during fiscal year 2025.
