The registration marks a milestone for the company, which spent the last year optimizing the formulation for commercial-scale production using its proprietary Precision Chemistry technology. By pairing a familiar synthetic chemical with a biological agent—the latter of which gained EPA approval as a new active ingredient in 2025—Vive aims to offer growers higher reliability without increasing application complexity.

Marie Yeager, senior product manager at Vive, noted that the product addresses long-standing requests for a broader, simplified solution for nematode management. Dr. Doug Baumann, the company's chief technology officer, emphasized that the goal was to create a synergy where the combined components outperform their individual applications. While federal clearance is now secured, the company is actively pursuing state-level registrations, with primary approvals anticipated by February 1, 2027.
