The facility marks a strategic shift for the aftermarket sector, moving away from wholesale battery replacement toward repair and life-extension services. By applying manufacturing-grade quality standards, the center now handles complex repairs in 48 hours, down from the previous 72-hour benchmark. The site offers coverage for 76.8% of existing electric vehicle models, utilizing the proprietary Intelligent Eagle Eye System to ensure full traceability throughout the maintenance process.

Beyond technical repairs, the Oslo hub functions as a training ground for local technicians and a showroom for emerging electric technologies, including marine vessels and eVTOL aircraft. This expansion aligns with CATL’s Global Energy Circularity Commitment, which emphasizes keeping batteries in active use for longer periods. Through partnerships with local entities like YES-EU Group, CATL intends to integrate its global manufacturing expertise with regional service capabilities. The company currently operates 1,394 service locations worldwide and maintains an aggressive growth target of 10,000 sites by 2030.
