Lager 157 eyes full RFID rollout following successful pilot

Swedish fashion retailer Lager 157 has completed a three-store pilot of ClarityRFID’s inventory technology, achieving stock accuracy levels as high as 99.8%. The trial, conducted across locations in Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, is now serving as the blueprint for a company-wide implementation scheduled for 2027.

The pilot project focused on enhancing item-level visibility within the retailer’s supply chain. By deploying the Clarity Store solution in Naestved, Nacka, and Raisio, the brand successfully elevated SKU accuracy to 97%. These metrics have provided head office staff with unprecedented clarity regarding real-time stock levels, a key requirement for the firm's planned physical expansion.

Gunnar Palm, Head of Controlling & Business Development at Lager 157, noted that the system provides the granular insight necessary for future store planning. Michael Quimby, General Manager at ClarityRFID, credited the retailer’s success to their emphasis on fundamental operational efficiency. Following these results, the company is preparing to integrate the technology across its broader network over the coming years.
