The new turbine leverages Envision’s existing Model T platform, which has already seen 4,000 units ordered and 1,500 installed globally. By incorporating sixth-generation low-noise airfoils and serrated trailing edges, the unit targets a sound power level of 107 dB(A), with additional operating modes for noise-sensitive locations. The company emphasizes that its vertically integrated manufacturing—covering blades, gearboxes, and generators—allows for tighter quality control and system-wide performance optimization.
Central to the EN175/8.0 is the Galileo autonomous control system, driven by Envision’s proprietary Tianji and Dubhe foundation models. Unlike traditional turbines reliant on static rules, this system analyzes real-time data to adapt to shifting wind conditions without manual intervention. Beyond individual machine performance, the platform is engineered to coordinate with solar, storage, and industrial loads, positioning the turbine as a node within a broader, flexible energy system. To support diverse geography, the design includes variants for extreme wind speeds and cold-climate configurations with integrated blade ice-prevention systems.
