Unicycive Therapeutics Faces Securities Class Action Over FDA Delays

Investors who incurred losses on Unicycive Therapeutics stock between December 29, 2025, and June 29, 2026, are being sought to serve as lead plaintiffs in a securities fraud class action lawsuit. The case centers on allegations that the company misled shareholders regarding its manufacturing oversight and regulatory readiness.

The complaint, filed by the law firm Glancy Prongay Wolke & Rotter LLP, alleges that Unicycive executives provided false or misleading statements concerning the company’s business operations. Specifically, the suit claims the company failed to disclose that it had not inspected or audited its third-party manufacturing vendor to ensure compliance with FDA standards. This oversight reportedly left the company without a reasonable basis to claim that regulatory deficiencies had been resolved.

Because of these undisclosed gaps, the lawsuit asserts that the firm lacked a foundation for its positive public outlook, particularly regarding the approval timeline for its drug candidate, OLC. Plaintiffs contend that the company failed to warn investors of the significant risk that the FDA would demand further information on manufacturing practices, which subsequently threatened to delay regulatory approval. Investors wishing to participate as lead plaintiffs must petition the court by November 2, 2026. While the legal firm is actively soliciting clients for this litigation, shareholders retain the right to select their own counsel or remain absent members of the class pending certification.
