6K Additive and ADDMAN Seal $10.8 Million Nickel Supply Deal

The partnership leverages 6K Additive’s UniMelt microwave plasma technology to process revert powder collected from ADDMAN’s production facilities. By converting used powder back into high-purity spherical material, the companies aim to stabilize supply chains for critical components in energy and defense. This localized production model reduces dependence on foreign imports while addressing material integrity requirements for mission-critical applications.

ADDMAN CEO Joe Calmese noted that the collaboration aligns with the company’s focus on sustainable lifecycle management for additive manufacturing. Frank Roberts, CEO of 6K Additive, added that the buy-back program effectively lowers the total cost of ownership for end-users while ensuring that quality standards remain high enough for repeatable 3D printing. The agreement, which carries a minimum valuation of $8.1 million, solidifies a long-standing working relationship between the Pennsylvania-based powder producer and the Florida-based manufacturer.
