Royal Caribbean Unveils 2028 Alaska Cruise Schedule

The fleet deployment includes the Anthem, the newly amplified Ovation, Serenade, and Voyager of the Seas. Beginning in April 2028, these vessels will navigate the Last Frontier, offering access to destinations like the Hubbard Glacier, Sitka, and Skagway. The Anthem and Ovation models will feature the signature North Star glass observation capsule, providing panoramic views from over 300 feet above the water.

Each vessel targets specific regional highlights. The Ovation, sailing from Seattle, incorporates new onboard amenities such as the Sound Cellar and the Pesky Parrot tiki bar. Meanwhile, the Serenade will operate from Vancouver, utilizing its glass-heavy design to maintain views of the coastal rainforests. For those departing from Seward, the company has integrated a state-of-the-art terminal facility developed in partnership with the Alaska Railroad. This infrastructure project serves a dual purpose, supporting tourism logistics while providing community space for local youth and entrepreneurial programs under the company’s SEA the Future initiative. General bookings for the 2028 season are scheduled to open on October 1.
