Akeneo reshuffles leadership to sharpen focus on AI-driven commerce

Product experience specialist Akeneo has appointed three senior executives to bolster its customer success, marketing, and global operations as the company pivots toward an AI-centric model. These changes are intended to help enterprise clients navigate a marketplace where AI agents increasingly dictate how products are discovered and ultimately purchased.

Jean Lethuillier joins as Vice President of Customer Success, transitioning from a similar role at Zoovu to oversee how the company turns product data into measurable growth outcomes. She is joined by Carole Offredo, who steps in as Chief Marketing Officer following a decade at Dataiku, where she scaled marketing efforts for the enterprise AI sector. Rounding out the appointments is Edouard Dewulf, the new Senior Director of the Global Centre of Excellence. Dewulf brings fifteen years of digital services experience to the role, having spent the last seven years at Accenture Song leading commerce transformations.

CEO Romain Fouache emphasized that these hires represent a strategic investment in the expertise required to lead the next phase of commerce. According to Dewulf, the firm’s current objective involves establishing product data as a foundational infrastructure component, ensuring that front-line engineers and the center of excellence provide the technical depth necessary for clients to adapt to shifting market dynamics.
