Allison Transmission Trims Debt With $100 Million Note Redemption

Indianapolis-based Allison Transmission Holdings has finalized a partial redemption of its 4.750% senior notes due 2027. The company retired $100 million in aggregate principal on September 30, exercising an optional redemption clause established under the original 2017 indenture agreement to reduce its outstanding debt obligations.

The notes were settled at full face value, with the company also covering all accrued and unpaid interest up to the redemption date. Following this transaction, the remaining principal balance for the 2027 notes stands at $300 million. This move aligns with the manufacturer’s broader capital management strategy as it continues to provide mobility solutions across industrial sectors including energy, mining, and national security. The company maintains its global operations from its Indiana headquarters, serving clients in more than 150 countries.
