NeuroSense Appeals Nasdaq Delisting Notice After Bid Price Recovery

NeuroSense Therapeutics has secured a reprieve from Nasdaq’s minimum bid price requirement following a successful reverse share split, yet the Cambridge-based biotechnology firm remains under pressure. The company now faces a potential delisting over its failure to maintain the $35 million minimum market value of listed securities threshold.

The company confirmed on October 1, 2026, that it received a staff determination notice regarding its market value deficiency. Having failed to meet the $35 million requirement by the September 29 deadline, NeuroSense has moved to formally appeal the decision. By requesting a hearing before the Nasdaq Hearings Panel, the firm effectively stays any immediate suspension of its shares and warrants, allowing them to remain active on the Capital Market while it prepares a strategy to regain compliance.

Simultaneously, the firm resolved its separate dispute regarding share pricing. Following a 1-for-20 reverse stock split, NeuroSense maintained a closing bid price of at least $1.00 for ten consecutive business days, satisfying Nasdaq’s minimum bid criteria. CEO Alon Ben-Noon described this as a vital step forward while the company shifts its focus toward its clinical pipeline, specifically the Phase 3 PARAGON trial for its ALS treatment, PrimeC. Despite this progress, management acknowledged that there is no guarantee the panel will grant the requested exception period for market value compliance.
