Bypassing standard public gateways, Bybit has unveiled a premium API solution designed to provide institutional-grade routing for high-volume brokers. The new infrastructure promises to eliminate latency fluctuations and performance inconsistencies, offering a stable, high-speed connection for firms executing complex, time-sensitive trading strategies.

The service, dubbed Broker Dedicated Connection, assigns a private path to qualified users, insulating them from the interference often found on shared API gateways. By optimizing the routing architecture, Bybit aims to provide the reliability required for large-scale operations that cannot tolerate execution delays or unexpected downtime. This initiative represents a push to capture more institutional market share by refining the technical backbone of the exchange.

Functionality extends across the entire order lifecycle, including placement, amendment, and cancellation, with real-time updates delivered via WebSocket. The system supports Spot, Linear, Inverse, and Options markets, incorporating SBE Market Data feeds and Level 50 Orderbook depth to aid in price discovery. Yoyee Wang, Head of Institutional and Enterprise Business at Bybit, stated that the move addresses the non-negotiable demand for consistency at the highest levels of crypto trading. To ensure service quality, the exchange will conduct quarterly reviews of all participants to verify that they continue to meet the necessary trading volume thresholds.
