Engineered for high-end residential and commercial spaces, Acucraft Fireplaces has launched the Blaze Open Collection, a new series of gas units designed to provide unobstructed, open-view flames. The Minnesota-based manufacturer aims to bridge the gap between traditional fire aesthetics and modern performance standards for architects and interior designers.
The collection features flame heights reaching 8 to 12 inches, producing up to 22,000 BTUs per linear foot. To address the noise levels typically associated with high-output gas features, Acucraft integrated its proprietary QuietFlow technology. This system utilizes a patent-pending Flow Director and acoustic insulation to maintain consistent draft performance while ensuring whisper-quiet operation in living areas.Flexibility remains a core focus of the release, with the units available in eight standard configurations including panoramic, peninsula, and indoor-outdoor models. CEO Chris Maxson noted that the design emphasizes the authenticity of open fire while meeting the rigorous expectations of contemporary luxury environments. Each unit is handcrafted in the United States using heavy-gauge steel, with customization options available through the company’s FireStyle Studio, which offers varied media ranging from LED lighting to driftwood and glass. The collection is currently available for order, supported by a lifetime firebox warranty.
