Luann de Lesseps Dismisses Co-Stars’ Reunion with Bethenny Frankel

“Good for them. I think they needed a little cash, so, perfect.” Luann de Lesseps did not mince words when asked about former Real Housewives of New York City co-stars Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan, who recently reunited with Bethenny Frankel for a commercial campaign in Paris.

Speaking on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, the Cabaret performer labeled the collaboration a “cash grab,” signaling her lack of interest in the venture. When pressed on whether she would have participated in the advertisement, de Lesseps quipped that she would prefer to go ziplining instead, just so she could “zip on out of there.”

This friction arrives as de Lesseps prepares for the fall premiere of her new E! series, The Golden Life. The show’s production has already faced turbulence; cast member Jill Zarin was fired before filming began following controversial remarks about a Super Bowl halftime performance, leading to the addition of Dorinda Medley. De Lesseps previously described Zarin’s exit as "tone-deaf," maintaining a professional distance as she shifts focus to her own project. Despite the ongoing drama surrounding her former castmates and her historically strained relationship with Frankel, de Lesseps maintains that she is moving forward, unfazed by the maneuvers of her peers.
