Emily Culp Named CEO of Home Care Brand Dropps

With over three decades of experience scaling global consumer brands, Emily Culp has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Elmhurst-based Dropps. The move aims to accelerate the growth of the sustainable home care company as it shifts its focus toward an expanding omnichannel footprint and health-conscious consumer base.

Culp arrives at the company following a tenure as Chief Brand & Strategy Officer at BodyHealth. Her background includes a stint as CEO of Cover FX Skincare, alongside leadership roles at Estee Lauder, Unilever, Keds, and Rebecca Minkoff. She also maintains an active presence on the boards of GoPro, Stio, and Cordial.

Founder Jonathan Propper, who launched the company in 2008 with the invention of the liquid laundry detergent pod, emphasized that Culp’s appointment is intended to scale the brand's zero-waste, high-performance mission. According to Elio Leoni Sceti, Chairman of the Board, the company is targeting an inflection point in the home care category where consumer demand for ingredient transparency and safety is rising. Culp noted that aligning with the brand’s long-standing focus on health and sustainability felt like a natural progression for her career.
