The technology allows staff to coordinate tasks in real-time and connect with managers without leaving the shop floor. Two-way call points are also being installed, enabling customers to request assistance at the touch of a button. Internal feedback from the trial location suggests the system has already streamlined operations for Click & Collect services and general warehouse-to-floor logistics.
Beth Worrall, CEO at VoCoVo, stated that the initial pilot demonstrated significant time and cost savings. Store management noted that the headsets have become essential to daily operations, particularly for handling high-volume periods like the upcoming patio season. The company expects the full-scale implementation to provide a consistent service level across its national network.
