Americas Cardroom Launches Sun Run Series With $2.18 Million Guarantee

Online poker players face two weeks of intense competition starting June 14, as Americas Cardroom rolls out its Sun Run Series. The schedule promises over $2.18 million in total guaranteed prize pools, targeting small and mid-stakes participants through a variety of daily events, multi-flight tournaments, and leaderboard incentives.

The tournament slate culminates on June 28 with three distinct Main Events. Players can compete for a $200,000 guarantee with a $66 buy-in, a $100,000 guarantee for $27.50, or a $20,000 event priced at $6.60. These headline tournaments are bolstered by a series of multi-flight Progressive Knockout (PKO) events that began earlier this month, featuring buy-ins as low as $5.50.

Beyond the primary prize pools, the series offers an additional $15,500 in leaderboard rewards. The top performer will walk away with a $2,650 Venom ticket alongside $2,500 in cash. Smaller cash prizes and tournament entries are reserved for the remainder of the top ten finishers. Daily events, which comprise the bulk of the $1.44 million in guaranteed prize money, will continue to mix traditional formats with PKO structures throughout the two-week run.
